who can really swing it, moved
into the Powatan Club Friday

of unusual ability, chants those
haunting melodies while A r t
Mooney's Rhythm Kings, are still
making things hum for dancing.

Danny White, new master of
ceremonies at the Club Ten-Forty,
delivers on request, impersona-
tions of any famous dancer. Danny
also has a fr endly line of chatter
which enhances the Teik-Forty's
reputation as an intimate night
spot.
Maybelle Van and her Adorables
have developed some feverish new
routines and Bobby Cook's torchy
songs blaze hotter than ever. Dance
music is by Max Fidler and his
men, with Bill Laskin at his por-
table piano during interludes.
