Jewish Institute Exercises
Prof. Nathan Isaacs of Harvard
University will give the principal
address at the exercises which
will inaugurate the 16th academic
year of the Jewish Institute of Re-
ligion, in New York. His subject
will be "Authority in Judaism".
The exercises will be held in the
chapel on Sunday evening, Oct. 4,
at 8:30 o'clock. The invocation will
be offered by Naphtali Frishberg.

nacle, and the evening prayer serv-
ice will be conducted by Harry S.
Lewis, chaplain. A closing word
will be spoken by Stephen S. Wise,
