Investigate Sale
of German Gloves

The League for human Rights,
with offices at 807 David Stott
Bldg., has issued the following
statement with regard to the sale
of German-made gloves:
"We have received many eons-
plaints from customers, who, see-
ing no mark, buy gloves only to
find that 'made in Germany' or
'made in Saxony' are printed in
tiny letters on the card of wash-
ing instructions, usually found in-
side the glove. When you find
gloves selling for less than 50c,
view them with suspicion. If these
gloves are unmarked, examine the
card of washing instructions care-
fully, and unless you find the
place of manufacture, do not pur-
chase. It is getting more and more
difficult to dispose of these Ger-
man gloves, with the result that
they are being 'dumped' on the
American market and all sorts of
ruses used to conceal the fact
that they are of German manufac-
ture."
