Miss Anne Rudman, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Max Rudman of
15862 LaSalle, became the bride
of Norman I. Weingarden, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel H. N'ein-
garden of 2651 Carter Ave., on
Sunday, June 30, at Congrega-
tion Beth Tephila Emanuel.
The bride wore a white satin
gown, the skirt forming a long
train. Her veil was held by a
fitted cap trimmed with orange
blossoms and calla lilies. She
carried white roses and lillies of
the valley.
Miss

Weingarden,
sister of the groom attended the
bride as maid of honor. She wore
blue lace and carried a front
bouquet of yellow tea roses.
Ben Weingarden was his broth-
er's best man. The bridesmaids
were Edith Rudman, sister of the
bride, she wore yellow net; Vir-
ginia Segal in orchid lace, Miriam
Fishkin in pink organza and
Evelyne Lieb in yellow organza.
They all carried front bouquets
of pink roses.
The ushers were Louis Wein-
garden, brother of the groom, Sol
Rudman, brother of the bride,
Allen Summit and Harold Wald-
man. The groomsmen were all
attired in white flannels, dark
jackets and light felt hats.
Mr. and Mrs. M. Kohn and Mr.
and Mrs. H. Katz presented the
bride and groom to the altar.
Marilyn Harriet Donkner and
Beverly Katz were flower girls.
Mrs. S. 11. Weingarden, mother
of the groom wore rose beige lace
and Mrs. Max Rudman, mother
of the bride wore purple chiffon.
Dinner was served to 150 guests.
A reception for 200 guests fol-
lowed the dinner.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman I. Wein-
garden left for a tour of North-
ern Michigan. They plan to stay
at Mackinaw Island for a week.

TOBY-STANDLER

On Sunday, June 30, Miss Ethel
Standler, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. N. Standler of 4225 Monte-
rey Ave., became the bride of
Samuel Toby, son of Mrs. Eva
Toby. The ceremony took place
at Lacher's Hull. Rabbi A. M.
Hershman officiated.
The bride wore an exquisite
gown of white satin with lace. It
was fashioned with princess lines
wit hlong kimono sleeves ending
in points of lace over the hands.
Over her shoulder the gown was
trimmed with seeded pearls. The
cap of her long veil was of lace,
an off-the-face model. Her bou-
quet of gardenias completed her
costume.
Miss Sylvia Standler, sister of
the bride was maid of honor. She
wore a pink embroidered net
gown, with the trimming of sky-
blue, the model being shirt waist
style. Accessories were carried
off in skyblue. Carl Natchez,
cousin of the groom, was best
man. The bride's mother wore a
tea rose lace gown. Her acces-
sories were carried out in coral.
