Plea For Trees
On Mother's Day

Louis Tobin, chairman of the tree
committee of the Jewish National
Fund Council of Detroit, this week
reiterated his appeal for the plant-
ing of trees in honor of or in mem-
ory of mothers on Mother's Day.
Mr. Tobin states:
"The Jewish National Fund
Council of Detroit aims to obtain
the planting of 100 trees for Moth-
er's Day and This can be very eas-
ily accomplished with the co-opera-
tion of the various organizations O
having Mother and Daughter cele-
brations. We, therefore, appeal to
the chairmen of these functions to
familiarize their guests with this
method of remembering or memor-
ializing mothers."
O
Trees may be planted by calling
Louis Tobin, Lafayette 1676, or ry
through the committees at any
Mother and Daughter celebration.
