25, at which time his subject was,
"Reform Judaism in the Modern
World and Its Relation to Jewish
Youth." Dr. Franklin's lecture
proved no interesting and instruc-
tive, that he was detained for two
hours answering the many queries.

Purity Chapter Gives Thea-
ter Party for Jewish
Children's Home,
April 3 was a red letter day on
the calendar of the Jewish chil-
dren's Home, when 23 of the older
children were taken to a theater
party at the RKO Downtown The-
■ ter by the ladies of Purity Chap-
ter No. 359, 0. E. S. The affair
was arranged under the chairman-
ship of Mrs. Irwin Yarrows of
13641 Dexter boulevard and was
minutely worked out in every de-
tail.
The children were conducted

nished by Mesdames Sarah Fried-
man, Selma Rosenblatt and Belle
Paul.
Refreshments distributed among
the children were prepared with
the strict observance of the Pesach
dietary laws and attractive pres-
