tion and four Young Judaea clubs
which were recently organized for
children from 8 to 12 years of

tional efforts of the li'nai David
Congregation.

Wednesday evening, Dee. 31, the
girls of the Junior League will
hold their usual meeting. Rabbi
J. S. Spet•ka will kindle Chanukah
lights. A brief report of the pro-
jects of the clubs will be given by
the sponsor, Miss Karina. Visitors
are welcome.
Thursday evening, Dec. 14, there
will be a joint Sisterhood-Auxil-
iary Chanukah social for members
only.
Rabbi Sperka will kindle
Chanukah lights.
Brief remarks
will be made by the presidents,
Mrs. M. Wolk and Mrs. J. Wein-
garten. The evening will be spent
in bridge, refreshments 111111 an
exchange of Chanukah gifts.
On Saturday evening, Dec. 16,
will he staged the dramatic spec-
tacle in which 3(111 actors will par-
ticipate. A one-act play will open
the program. During the intermis-
sion there will be brief remarks
and explanations. The presenta-
tion of the entire story of Chanu-
kah will follow, its history, its
effects and meaning, will be of-
fered by an unusually large cast of
the children of the school and
clubs. The dramatic director is
M. Haar. The music is under the
direction of Rebecca Katzman

nominal.
