Attacks on Jewish Warehouses in
Germany.
BERLIN.—(J. T. Al—Tear and

gas bombing attacks upon ware-
houses and other places of business
owned by Jews were reported in
Giessen, Mainz, Darmstadt, Worms
and other towns.
The attacks are believed to be
part of a premeditated plan
worked out by Central Nazi head-
quarters.
In Giessen, tear bombs were
thrown into three warehouses own-
ed by Jews during the busiest trad-
ing hours. A member of the Nazi
Storm Troops, Wenzel, was arrest-
ed by the police and confessed the
act, explaining that it was done
to damage the interest of the Jews.

space to the closing down of the

goes on to describe the details of
the disturbance at the lecture when
the Nazi students assembled de-
manding that Professor Cohn

WOMEN'S COUNCIL'S
BIG SISTER GROUP

The Jewish deputies in the Polish
Sejm, including the members of the
Club of Jewish Deputies, the Pro-
Government Jewish Deputies, and
those of other parties, have made
a demand for the removal from
their posts of the three principal
executive officials in Lemberg: the
governor, the chief of police, and
the head of the security depart-
ment. They also informed the min-
ister of interior that they cannot
trust the investigations at present
being conducted in Lemberg on
the ministry's instructions, so long
as the investigation was under the
authority of persons, who, the Jew-
ish deputies were convinced, them-
selves carried the responsibility for
tolerating and for failing to sup-
press the disturbances as soon as
they began to develop.
