MRS. BENJAMIN J. SAFIR
(Miss Sophia Radom)

Dr. Leo M. Franklin officiated at
a beautiful ceremony in the Men's
Club Room at the Temple Beth El
on Sunday afternoon, Starch 6,
when he joined in matrimony Miss
Sophie Radom, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Simon Radom, and Benjamin
J. Safir.
The bride looked lovely in a Le-
long eggshell lace gown and a tur-
ban to match, and wore ivory color-
ed shoes. She carried a sheath of
calla lillies. The bride was given
away in marriage by her father.
Her sister, bliss Celia Radom, at-
tended her as maid of honor. She
wore an Agnes pink lace gown and
a large pink picture hat trimmed in
blue, with shoes to match. She
carried a shower bouquet of pink
roses and blue delphiniums. The
bride's mother wore a lovely black
gown and hat to match, wearing a
corsage of tea roses.
The groom was attended by his
brother, Alvin Safir, and by John
Sklar.
During the processioti, Miss Rose
Waxman sang "0 Promise Me," ac-
companied by Al Wolgin on the
violin.
Following the ceremony, the bri-
dal couple left for Chicago. They
will be at home to their friends
after March 20, at 2745 Cortland
avenue.
