YOUNG ARTISTS IN THE MAKING

The House of Representa-
tives and the Senate will hold a
joint convention next Tuesday,
April. 14, at 4 p. m., in the
House of Representatives hall,
Lansing, for the purpose of con-
ferring honors on three distin-
guished Michigan scientists, Dr.
Reuben L. Kahn, Dr. Moses
(lomberg and Dr. Frank Navy.
Governor Brucker issued the
following statement in connec-
tion with the action of the
Legislature:
"These three scientists are
Michigan men and have achieved
world-wide recognition and dis-
tinction in their respective fields
of work. It is altogether fitting
and proper that the two
blanches of the Legislature
should assemble in joint con-
vention to give recognition to
these outstanding scientists, to
hear a brief story of their work
and to confer upon them suit-
able recognition for their dis-
tinguished service to human-
ity."
