YEOMEN CELEBRATE I
33RD ANNIVERSARY
The thirty-third anniversary of
the Brotherhood of American Yeo-
men, a benevolent and social or-
ganization, will be celebrated in
Detroit by the Bow and Arrow
Homestead, a newly formed lodge
of the order, Wednesday evening,
Feb. 19, in Gerrow's Hall, 333
Grand River avenue.
The progress of the society
since it was organized in Des
Moines, Iowa, Feb. 25, 1897, is ob-
served by its membership of men
and women numbering 100,000.
The organization is a co-operative
and legal reserve society. A chil-
dren's home in Elgin, Ill., known as
"Yeomen City of Childhood," in

The organization in Michigan is
under the supervision of S. Harris
with offices in the Hammond Bldg.,
