Some Jewish Leaders Towards His Libel Suit
Against World's Wealthiest Man.
What is perhaps the first public statement by Aaron Sapiro setting
forth his views with regard to certain elements of American Jewry
and Jewish leadership touching hi, libel suit against Henry Ford is
contained in a letter tee The Detroit Jewish Chronicle, which we now
publish with the writer's permission.
The letter, which was addressed to this newspaper by Mr. Sapiro
on May 3, by way of comment on an editorial entitled "tiepins Is
Exonerated!" that appeared in the issue of April 29, follows:

This is the first time that the

those in the Free State, where Re-

Neither Lord Crewe nor any other

Morning Sermons.
"European Criticism of Amer-
ica" will be the subject of Rabbi
Fram's sermon Saturday, Aug. 13.
In this sermon Rabbi Frum will
discuss two outstanding books in
which Europeans have given their
impressions of American life. The
first is by a I. renchman and is en-
titled "America Comes of Age."
The second is by an Englishman
and is entitled "The Babbitt War-
ren."
Rabbi Frans will point out the
criticisms that are based on mis•
conceptions, but he will also select
those criticisms which are valid
and to which the American people
must give heed. In his reply to
these European critics of America.
Rabbi Fram will present an Amer-
ican criticism of Europe.
On Saturday, Aug. 6, the sub-
ject of Rabbi Fram's sermon will
be "Metropolis." The sermon is
to he based upon the German mo-
tion picture of that name which
was recently on display in Detroit.
