In the near future, also. the tour-
ist traffic in Palestine should expand
and become of some importance. But
Transjordania at present holds out
few attractions for the tourist. The
only town of any importance, Am-
man, the capital, has not even • den
list. The Emir's consort must go to
Jerusalem when her royal teeth need
attention.
Altogether there are only three
towns in Transjordania — Amman,
