Zeirie Zion Organization.
The Zeirie Zion Organization held
its last meeting on Thursday eve-
ning, June 17, with Bernard Linder-
man as acting chairman. A final re-
port given by Ed. Fransblau, chair-
man of the Jewish National Fund
Flower Day, held on Sunday, June
13, showed approximately $350
raised by the Zeirie Zion Organiza-
tion. The following committee was
elected to represent the Zierie Zion
Organization at the Jewish National
Fund for the coming year: Abe La-
chawitsky, Ed. Fransblau, Phillip
Goldstein, Morris Cohen and Jack Sit-
ver. Miss Celia Heiman, chairman
of the social committee, is making
final arrangements for the picnic and
community supper to take place on
Sunday, June 27, at Arlington
Heights. All members and their
friends are asked to come and par-
ticipate in this affair. Dancing,
games and entertainments of all
kinds are planned to make this day a
success for all. Do not bring lunches,
as supper is supplied by the organiza-
tion and will be sold there. The next
meeting will take place on Wednes-
day evening, June 30, at 31 Mel-

made for the farewell party which
was held at Cass Lake in honor of
Miss Esther Florence.
Blossoms of Zion.
The last meeting of the Blossoms
of Zion Club was held at the home
of Lenore Markson. Sophie Caplan
was accepted as a member. A picnic
was held at Belle Isle on Sunday,
June 20, Mrs. Markson acting as
Chaperone. The next meeting will
be held at the home of Sophie Cohen,
1548 Pingree avenue, on Saturday at
3 p. m.
Sigma Epsilon Sorority.
The last meeting of the Sigma Ep-
silon Sorority Was held at the home
of Miss Mae Taylor, 2003 Gladstone
avenue, on Thursday evening, June
