The Detroit Senior and Junior Ila-
dassah chapters will give a formal
ball at the Book-Cadillac Hotel on
Sunday evening, Feb. 7, the proceeds
of which will go toward the various
humanitarian enterprises in which the
chapters are interested. The Medical
Unit work in Palestine, the Nurses
Training School and the child wel-
fare department are particular ac-
tivities for which the senior organiz-
ation's share will be used and the or-
phanage at Meier Chfeye, Palestine,
is the institution supported by the
Detroit Junior Hadassah Unit. Mrs.
Louis Robinson of the senior chapter
and MN. B. Roy Salinger of the
junior unit are chairmen of the
dance. Seymour Simons Orchestra
will play, with Mr. Simons conduct-
ing.
