ISSUES A BROCHURE
ON THEODOR HERZL

Asks Heads of Educational and
Other Public Institutions
for Co-operation.

CINCINNATI---A calendar of Jew-
ish holidays from 1924-25 has just
been issued by the tract commission
under the joint auspices of the Union
of American Hebrew Congregations
and the Central Conference of Amer-
icon Rabbis. These calendars have
been sent to presidents of universi-
ties, superintendents of public
schools and high schools, as well as
to the heads of nenal and correctional
institutions. This calendar was sent
with a view to co-operating with edu-
cational institutions, urging them not
to schedule examinations on any of
the important Jewish holy days. A
message is contained from the tract
commission to the heads of institu-
tions and is as follows:
"The tract commission offers this
calendar of Jewish holy days to school
and university authorities having
Jewish students in their charge and
to the heads of other institutions in
which there may be Jewish inmates.
"The tract commission trusts that
the heads of institutions desire to be
informed on these mutters so that in
the routine of their office work they
may be enabled to arrange slates of
matriculation, exemination and other
important activities which will not
force some of the persons who come
under their juri-diction to disregard
their religious duties.
"For your sympathetic co-opera-
tion in this, to us, no vital a matter,
the tract commission will be very
thankful."

Genuine Balloon Tires Enhance World's Greatest Value

Naturally when balloon tires had es-
tablished their superiority Hudson and
Essex would adopt them. They are
now standard equipment. They add
an even greater measure of riding
ease, steadiness and good looks to the
notable values of the Coach.

In workmanship, mite nals and design
both Hudson and Essex are of one
quality—built in the same factories,
under the same patents. Your choice
between them will rest solely
on the price you want to pay.

$ 1000

Consider how the growing trend to
closed cars affects resale values. The
diminishing demand for open cars
means far faster depreciation In
that type. As the wanted type, the
Coach maintains exceptionally high
resale value.
