conferred with the king regarding the
incident.
The plot was disclosed as a result
of the assassination of M. Rosenthal,
editor of the Adverul, who was first
on the death list prepared by the
Teacisti.
A deputation consisting of the Jew-
ish deputies Dr. Wilhelm Vaszonyi,
Paul Sandor and Dr. Bela Fabian,
and Dr. Alexander Lederer, presi-
dent of the Budapest Jewish com-
munity, have visited M. loan Rakov-
sky, Minister for the Interior, and
asked hint to withdraw the prohibi-
tion against the Union of Jewish stu-
dents at the Hungarian universities,
which was suppressed by the authori-
ties last spring. M. Rakovsky said
that he would have the question re-
opened and the union would prob-
ably be functioning again before the
end of 1923.
The chief activity of the union was
the raising of funds for the support
of Jewish students who were com-
pelled by the operations of the nu-
merus clausus to study in universities
outside Hungary.

SINCERITY
—one of the Greatest
Things in Life
I
N choosing furniture as in choosing one's
friends the most important thing to
consider is "sincerity."
It is a fine thing to be sure that things
are just what they seem.
In furniture, as in folks, a thin veneer of polish
often conceals a basio defect.
The confidence we feel in the quality of
ROBINSON-COHEN furniture is reflected in the
contacts of our salesmen with the public.
At our stores you may always be sure that
things are exactly what they seem!

Budget Plan
If you can't see where you are
able to save anything out of your
pay envelope, just put your fam-
ily on the Budget System for one
month—keep track of every cent
spent.
At the end of a month go over
every expenditure. You'll be sur-
prised to find at least a dozen
places where money was spent
needlessly.
Start again the next month. Another 30 days will
have taught you how to save something. Continue
keeping books until CAREFUL spending has be-
come a habit.
