An interesting meeting of the Blue
Bird Girls was held Tuesday even-
ing, April 24, at the home of Miss
Edith Hermanoff. The speaker of
the evening was Louis Gotlieb, who

Contestants in the debate to be
given at the twenty-first annual
model meeting of the Philomathic De-
bating Club were elected at the last
Sunday evening meeting of the club,
as follows: William Knoppow, Syd-
ney DeYoung, Isadore Berger, Sam
Leibowitz, Jack Schulman, Jack Thu-
min. Jack Margolis and Ilyman Ba-
rahal were elected alternates. A sil-
ver loving cup will be presented to
