At a meeting of the Hebrew Day
Nursery, held on Wednesday even-
ing, April 11, M. Weisswasser, chair-
man of the building committee, re-
ported that the auditorium is nearing
completion and that the nursery will
lie opened about June 1 to infants
whose mothers are forced to leave
them alone and to go out and seek a

the building's opening, to last a week.
A committee was picked to issue an
appeal to Detroit Jews to participate
and to help make the nursery a suit-
able home for the infants dependent
upon it.
The thanks of the organization
were expressed to Rabbis Aishiskin
and Eiseman for the appeals made
by them on several occasions and for
their efforts in helping establish the
nursery home.
