decorated in pink and white Aaron
Ward roses and yellow jonquils, trail-
ing southern smilax and mignonette
on Friday afternoon for the beauti-
fully appointed luncheon, bridge and
lotto party at which Mrs. Julius Roth-
Pauline Barlow were

hostesses to 75 guests, compliment-
ing their mister, Mrs. Nathan Hilsberg
of Grand Rapids. The arrangements
for this charming affair were carried
out most delightfully at the tables at
which the guests were seated. Each
table had two hostesses who assisted
in the seating. Mrs. Rothschild, Miss
Barlow and Mrs. Hilsberg were
gowned in filmy black lace and satin
and wore corsage bouquets of pink
and white Premier rosebuds with lacy
foliage. Those assisting as hostesses
were Mrs. Louis Iliger, Mrs. Hannah
Freud, Mrs. Adolph Sloman, Mrs.
Sidney S. Weinman, Mrs. Louis Si-
mon, Mrs. I.ouis Oppenheim, Mrs. I.
L. Polozker, Mrs. Lows Musliner,
Mrs. A. M. Ermann, Mrs. A. Prenz-
lauer, Mrs .Max Berger, Mrs. Alex
Friedman, Mrs. Sam Marwil and Miss
Fanny Simon. Among the out-of-
