Irving G. Rhodes, for the last five
years associated with the business
staff of the Detroit Jewish Chronicle,
left for Indiana olis, Ind., where he
will publish a Jewish

weekly news-
paper, printed in English. The paper
will be the only one of its kind in the
entire state of Indiana.
Indianapolis, with a Jewish popula-
tion of approximately 20.000 has had
no communal organ up to the present
time. The first issue will be published
the latter part of March.
Mr. Rhodes graduated from Detroit I
Central High School in 1917 and at-
tended the University of Michigan and
Detroit College where he took an ac-
tive part in literary and debafng work .
