Ajlun, Salp, Armen and Kerald who
have promoted the formation of self-

ment of an efficient gendarmerie for

These measures have been taken with
the concurrence of the French Gov-
ernment and of the Damascus Ad-
ministration. I trust that the out-
come may be the establishment of
a greater degree of law and order,
and the protection Of trade and in-
dustry, which will not only benefit
the population of Trans-Jorulania, but
