Automobile owners of Flint have
long expressed the need of an estab-
lishment to which they might send
their cars for complete ,renovation,
mechanical troubles excepted.
Kenworthy & Ilanaford occupy a
building erected especially for this
purpose. This building, unlike the or.
Binary paint shop, contains separate
finishing rooms that may be entirely
closed from the rest of the build-
ing. From the finishing rooms the
cars are removed to drying rooms,
where they are allowed to remain at
a correct drying temperature, there-
fore insuring a perfect finish, free
from dust. Motors are also coup
pletely cleaned and painted during
this process.
Kenworthy & Ilanaford's top and
upholstering department is reputed
capable of caring for every automo-
bile requirement, whether it lie an
entire replacement or a small repair
job. They furnish slip-covers for
closed cars, tire covers. special driv-
ing cushions. special winter tops for
Fords and other accessories.

A settlement Was therefore made.
The Lunditus, in their unfortunate po-

Dobe 2,700,000 kronen, At the same
time he wrote to his family ordering
them to turn over the sum to Dobe,

lowing officers who subscribed their
names to the Instrument: :Military De-

on the telephone that Landau had
signed a settlement and that Attorney
Dr. Rusie would go to Landau's wine
establishment to collect the sum for
his client, Dobe, as had been agreed.
At 7 o'clock Riede arrived at the wine
cellar with Landau's letter, lint was
inbrined by a nephew of Landau's,
Eimer Landau, that while he recog-
nized the signature as being that of
his uncle, nevertheless, he, Elmer,
would not deliver the goods unless he
could see Ills uncle first. Rusk took
Elmer into his auto and brought hint
to the barracks. On their way, Elmer
Landau begged Itusle to do his utmost
to save both prisoners. Itusic prom-
ised to do so, but said that It would
cost a lot of money, and that Ile would
have to give the general staff at least
half a million kronen. But Elmer did
not possess a half million kronen and
together with his lawyer, Dr. Szilagyi,
he referred the matter to Deputy Rup-

IENNA—A few weeks ago the of-
ficial Hungarian Press Bureau sent
the news to the press of Vienna that
there was ill Hungary a sort of "sui-

last year suicides have increased more
than tIve-fold. Of course, no one could
question an "epidemic" of which there

causes and grounds for this new baf-

Most of the newspapers printed the
dispatch without comment or discus-

subject was disposed of. A few days

that the statement is merely an "of-

Vienna Papers Keep "Neutral,"

Some of the Vienna newspapers
which are not connected with the Hun-
garian government and which do not
receive aid from Martha's' administra-
tion have printed the news of the mys-
terious suicide of the merchant Adolph
Landau, but the world paid little at-
tention to it. Other newspapers have
not even thought fit to mention a word
about it and have followed out their
theory of keeping "neutral" In the
