An excellent illustration of this is
revealed in the collarless model of
Cheruit Twill, sketched on the left.
Note the fringe of soutache and the
Roman stripe taffeta sash.
The same tendency appears in an

FRANKFURT, A. 11.—At a crowd-
ed mass-meeting of German anti-
Semites, Professor Ruge delivered an
address against the Jews, in which
he complained that "these Asiatics
had been permitted to live in holy
Germany."
"They must be expelled," he de-
dared, "and if they do not want to
go of their own accord, they must
be driven out with revolvers and
knives."
At these words the audience broke
out with a great ovation.

Lessons have recommenced at the
School for Nurses, founded by the
A. Z. M. U. They are all given in
Hebrew and are attended by more
than 40 pupils.

DISTINCTION

STEINWAY

—Grands and Uprights
—Dile Art
Reproducing Pianos

—Pianola Player-Pianos

—has always been associated with this most magnifi-
cent of Pianos—a feature just as fully recognized in all
other countries as in our own—

The Steinway k distinctive in
tone quality; in the opportunity
for musical expression which it
atTords. This is why practically
all the great pianists and vocalists
play, or are heard with the Stein-
way.
It is distinctive in its durability.
No other instrument is for so many
years a source of such unqualified
musical delight.
It is distinctive in its dignity and
richness of design, and perfection
of workmanship.
It is distinctive in its standing.
No other instrument suggests in
like degree the culture and critical
musical appreciation and discrim-
ination that is inseparably associa-
ted with the presence of a Stein-
way in the home.
