A versatile leading man is Edwin

Fifteen Detroit Young Judaea cir-
cles with a total membership of close

The cast of characters in the play,
"Here and There," will consist of
Esther Jacobson, who takes the lead-
ing part, that of "Sammy," Tillie
Chimovitz, who takes the part of the
fairy of the fig tree in Palestine;
and eight Palestine children, forming
the chorus, the parts to be taken by
Rose Stein, Ray Berger, Alice Cash-
wan, Anna Urman, liessie Yucht,
Tillie Lipson, Sophie Mendelsohn and
Anna Goldberg,
Fannie Blonde, of the Auxiliary of
Zion, will give a recitation, "What's
Chamisho Osor?," and Lany Drapkin,
of the Daughter of the White and
Blue, will declatne. "I Saw a Vision."
"Chamisho Osor in Palestine" will be
the title of a short speech by a mem-
ber of the Judaean Athletic Club, and
"Sing, Children, Sing" is a short poem
to be recited by one of the Defenders
of Zion.

NEW YORE—Commendation of
the efforts of the Jewish Welfare
Board to locate and mark the graves
of all Jews of the American Expedi-
tionary Forces who died in France is
contained in a letter from Colonel
Charles C. I'ierce, Chief of the Graves
Registration Service of the United
States Army to the Jewish Welfare
Board. The letter which was made
public today by Colonel Harry Cutler,
Chairman of the Board, is as follows:
"I hope that you will convey to
your association on the Jewish Wel-
fare Board my cordial appreciation
of their co-operation with us in an
attempt to have the graves of our
American dead overseas appropriate-
ly marked, and also, further assurance
that this desire for perfect inscrip-
tion is as keen as that of the sorrow-
ing families themselves. It is only
a matter of time when we shall be
able, by co-operative efforts, to
achieve the desired result.

the name as reported to us and the
official rolls of the War Department.
To reconcile these differences re-

military service. This decree means
a return to the situation as it existed
