With the present term of the Philo•
mathic Debating Club drawing to a
close, the energetic debates on topics
of the day and intelligent discussions
of Jewish subjects that arc held
throughout the term are giving way
during the last few meetings to lighter
programs. I.ast Sunday evening a
humorous vein permeated the entire
programme. Every member of the club
participated with witty jokes, amus-
ing anecdotes, comical monologiies
and facetious impersonations, with an
abundance of rollicking laughter
