The Young People's Society of
Temple Beth El have decided on
March 23rd as the (late of their dance

On Sunday last, Rabbi Leo M.
Fanklin addressed the Open Forum
on the subject, "Democracy at its
Best and at its Worst." On Tuesday
he spoke before the Adcraft Club on
"Father and Son."

Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Newman of
Cass avenue are spending the winter
months in Florida.

Mrs. Day Krolik and son, Day Jr.,
have gone south.

Hmry Z. Brown has received
his release front service and has re-
turned to his home. Mr. Brown en-
listed in the Ordnance Corps last
year, taking the special course at
the University of Michigan. From'
there he was sent to Camp Hancock
and later assigned to Camp Cody,
New Mexico. Here Mr. Brown was
given charge of the Refrigeration De-
partment and was slated to receive
a commission when the armistice was
signed. Mr. Brown is at present oc -
cupying an executive position with
the General Ice Delivery Company.
Mr. Max May and Mr. Max Ber-
emit are in New York City.
