Thus far the Company owns two valuable
water contracts : the EATON CONTRACT of
NORTHVILLE and the STEERE CON-
TRACT of ANN ARBOR. The EATON
CONTRACT is practically perpetual and the
STEERE CONTRACT runs for thirty years
(the term of the Company's corporation).
THE STEERE CONTRACT governs the sev-
eral ARTESIAN WELLS on the property
owned by Dr. J. B. Steere and located four
miles South of ANN ARBOR. The wells lie
within .a natural water shed and are true AR-
TESIAN WELLS (flowing continually from
their own pressure), from a depth of about 150
feet. These wells have attracted no little at-
tention for several years, and have been in-
spected by department officials from Washing-
ton, D. C., who have estimated the supply as
"practically inexhaustible." As a test 3,000,-

Summer shoes at reductions lower
than we have ever offered.

000 GALLONS OF WATER A DAY WAS
TAKEN FROM ONE WELL FOR A PERI-
OD OF SIXTY DAYS, which produced no ap-
preciable effect upon the supply.
It has been pronounced by the Analytical
Laboratories of the University of Michigan
"GERM FREE." "The water shed" furnishes
a great natural filter—none better in the world.
This Company has been operating only 6
months and could easily have paid a handsome
dividend 60 days after beginning operations,
but used this money to take care of increased
business—until at the present time the busi-
ness has grown to such an extent it is neces-
sary to sell more stock to buy larger equip-
ments. Regardless of these conditions, the
Company is earning a nice dividend.
The capital stock of this Company is $40,-
000, $23,000 of which has been subscribed,
and to enlarge their capacity, in order to han-
dle the increased demand for water, they now
offer only $14,000 more stock at the par value
of $10.00.
If you will call at our office or phone us we
will be pleased to explain the proposition thor-
oughly or send one of our representatives to
call on you.
