city where he spent the past week
attending the meeting of the Amer-
ican Medical Association. The pur-
pose of the convention was pri-
marily to discuss ways and means
by which the association and its
members might render service to
the government either in this coun-
try or at 'the front:

Mr. Isadore Levin; who is at the
Officers' Reserve Training Camp at
Fort; Sheridan, has been assigned
chos-en division. Until last
Week the training was uniform for
all, but divisions have now been
Made and Mr. Levin has been as-
signed to the field artillery. His
brother, Mr: Samuel M. Levin, who
visited him last week, reports him
in the very best of health. Any
rumor that Mr. Levin's health has
been impaired is absolutely false.
Mrs. Hugo A. Freund returned
from a few days' visit with her
husband who is in the medical de-
partment of Fort Benjamin Har-
rison Training Camp mear Indian-
apolis, Ind. Dr. Freund, who has
the rank of captain of the medical
reserve 'corps, — of which he is a
member for a • number of years,
was ordered into camp June 1.

receiving congratulations upon the
birth of a son.
Dr. and Mrs. R. R. Goldstone are
being congratulated upon the birth
