Born in West Prussia
June 29th, 1872. Came to
Detroit in May, 1888, and
lived here since that time.
Seven years he attended
the Polish Seminary at
Detroit, where he com-
pleted the classical course
and philosophy
Completed his studies of
law at the Detroit College
of Law, from which he re-
ceived the degree of
"Bachelor of Laws" on the
22nd day of April, 1899.
Two days thereafter he was admitted to practice of law
in the Michigan courts and on the 20th of February,
1900, was admitted to practice in the Federal courts.
During six years was Deputy Clerk of the Recorder's
Court, appointed by Judge Alfred J. Murphy. During
the last ten years, however, devoted all his time to the
practice of law and met with success.
Was born of poor parents and paid for his education
with his own earnings. During the first five years he
made illustrations for a weekly gaper then edited in the
Polish Seminary. This he did during his spare time.
When others played he worked. In the last two years
he taught music.
His office is at 814 Penobscot Bldg. and at 895 Rus-
