"The Most Pretentious Program Offered this Year,"
Says President J. Miller.
The debate to be staged at the
open meeting of Pisgah Lodge on
Monday evening, May 29, has cre-
ated considerable comment among
both members of B'nai ftrith and
local j CWIS11 men generally. The
subject which will form the topic
for the evening's discussion, "Re-
solved, that the Order of B'nai
1 'rith abolish secrecy," is one which
is not only of vital concern to the
entire order at the present time, but
one which also furnishes food for
thought on the part of all intelligent
and thinking - people. Ili addition
to the deep interest of the subject
itself, assurance of an entertaining
and profitable evening is given by
the fact that the participants in the
discussion art' men of unquestion-
able standing and ability.

most powerful orators ever grad-

will be Dr. Leo \I. Franklin, Dr. A.
M. Hershman and Mr. Louis J.
Rosenberg.
Speaking of the debate, President
J. Miller of Pisgah Lodge, said:
"In presenting a debate on a sub-

of abolishing secrecy within the or-
der, to be staged by four of the
most forceful public speakers which
the Jewish community of Detroit
possesses, Pisgah Lodge is present-
