The J-Hop, recognized as one of the most brilliant college func- tions in the Mid-West, drew guests from states as distant as California, Florida, and Vermont. Several of the 14 fraternities hold- ing house parties entertained with formal dinners before the J-Hop, and a number of the houses also had formal dances. The Union, Chubb's, the Parrot, and several fraternities served breakfasts after the dances. Plans for dinner dances on Saturday night have been arranged by the various fraternities holding house parties, as well as the usual tea dances and theatre parties.
