Resourceful Student
Hits Loan Fund For
$50 J-Hop Expenses
Talk about resourcefulness, chic-
anery, and native shrewdness, the
following item concerning a Michigan
undergrad whose name of necessity
must remain anonymous, may be re-
garded as a startling example of these
aforementioned qualities.
Said young gentleman planned to
go to the J-Hop. Plans were made,
gal was dated many moons ago -last
August, in fact . . . but no dough,
and no prospect of obtaining the
same for decades and eons.
The young man had no desire to
merely read about the Hop in this
extra. He desires to be here, just as
you and I. What does he do?
He borrows the money from the
University. The loan was made
months ago; the sum - $50.
If you look about you closely and
see a rather quilty-looking someone,
accompanied by a gal hailing from
the environs of Boston, don't stare.
Merely smile in a complimenting sort
of way. Mental giants like this must
not go unrewarded.
