"German Bullet" and "Pat" Smith
is out-Patting himself. Raymond,
Sparks and "Morrie" Dunne are
the iieiy punters and the choice
is exceedingly close.
For' the pilot position Sparks and
Zieger both look good. While
Sparks has been playing regularly
with the Varsity squad, Zieger is
putting up the game of his life with
the scrubs.
Peach and "Morrie" Dunne are
playing the regular end positions.
Niemann seems the logical man for
center with Willard as strong sub-
stitute. "Fritz" Rehor is at pres-
ent banting and bucking at left
guard. Weske is a strong possi-
bility for the right tackle berth.
Wymann has been playing both
in the backfield and on the line and
looks equally good to the eye of
the campus in either. Several other

The squad received signals Thurs-
day morning. Every coach from
Fielding H. Yost down is wearing
a smile these days and the campus
is smiling with them.

Find Bremen Life Preserver
Boston, Sept. 3o.-A life preserv-
er bearing the name "Bremen." has
been picked up off Cape Elizabeth,
Maine, near Portland, ccording to
information received there tonight.
Recent dispatches from Berlin ad-
mit that the undersea merchantman
Bremen is a week overdue at a
United States port.
