RUMOR OF REVOLUTION IN GERM Y SPREADS LONDON LATEST TO HEAR OF RE- PORT THAT WAS HEARD IN UNITED STATES London, March 20.- Unconfirmed rumor was spread in financial circles here this afternoon of a revolution in Germany. The same rumor of a re- volution in Germany has been persis- tently in circulation in the United States for the past two days. Today it went so far as to carry the sugges- tion that something had happened to the Kaiser. None of the rumors could be traced to a definite source, but all were ap- parently founded on recent reports indicating unrest in Germany and the. possibility that the success of the dem- ocratic movement in Russia recently might result in German democrats overthrowing the autocratic German military aristocracy. Yesterday the United Press received inquiries concerning various rumors about German revolution from such widely separated cities as Philadel- phia, Cleveland, Montreal, and Chica- go. The rumors were spread like those reported in London in financial cir- cles. New York, March 20.-The Evening Sun this afternoon published the fol- lowing dispatch from London: "Re- ports from a Danish newspaper state that a revolution has broken out in Hamburg, Germany. No confirmation of the rumior can be obtained here. Official advices are lacking."
