In today's eastern headliner-the Princeton-Yale fray-the sons of Nas- sau have a slight advantage in the lope due to their strong defense, and the best punter in the east, Eddie Driggs. Tibbott's toe is so dangerous within the 45-yard mark that Prince- ton may be depended to score by this method if a touchdown is not accom- plished. Syracuse will meet all kinds of trou- Mle in disposing of Colgate.. The two forward trenches are about on a par, with the Soapmakers' backfield su- perior to that of the Orangenmen. The Harvard-Brown fray may turn out to he a combat of huge proportions, but the threat of Haughton to start the game with a full complement of subs goes to show that the Crimson is not taking the conquerers of Yale sen- ,usly. Other big eastern schools with he possible exception of Dartmouth are expected to win without difficulty. In the west the Michigan-Penusyl- rania intersectional combat promises :o yield a close score with both sides' confident of victory. The two lead- ing conference contenders have visions of victories, though Case may spring a surprise on Ohio State. Minnesota and Wisconsin put on their annual scrap at Minneapolis with the odds fa- roring the Gophers. Illinois should dis- pose of Chicago handily, as should Ne- braska in its struggle with Kansas. M. A. C. hopes to make reparation for :he loss of the Michigan contest by walloping the shifty Notre Dame out- fit, but the Catholics should vanquish :he Farmers by a comfortable margin. 'he far western headliner-Washing- on vs. California-is the biggest scrap o be pulled off west of the Sierras this season. Critics are favoring California :o cop by a tight squeeze. It was anybody's game, and during the first half particularly, there was no distinct superiority on either side. The play was rapid and clean, being seldom in- terrupted by fouls. Mary Morse, the speedy sophomore forward, seems to have the greatest individual scoring ability in the entire squad. She made both of the goals against the juniors last week and four of the total tallies in today's game stand to her credit. Lucile Duff played her usual aggres- sive game at forward and Eva Herz- berg starred in the backfield. Mar- garet Atkinson made the other sopho- more goal. Get a Green Pennsy Extra. SOCCER CONTEST WITH BATTLE CREEK NORMALITES POSTPONED The soccer game with Battle Creek which was to have been played this morning at 10 o'clock, was postponed because the teams could not agree on the scene of battle. The soccerites have been unfortunate in this respect this year, both games with Ypsi having been postponed be- cause of the epidemic of smallpox at Ypsilanti. It is hoped, however, that these games will be played off after the danger has passed. This will mean that the entire schedule has been moved forward several weeks.
