Palmer, '17 , chairman of the annual football smoker to be held in the com- bined gymnasiums Nov. 25. "Al prep- arations have been made and we're going to give Michigan men the pep- piest' smoker they ever have had. Someting that will be a real expres- sion of the way we feel toward the best teamn Michigan has had in years." The smoker will be the first ever held in the now Waterman gymnasium. In formner years only about 500 could be accommodated, but with the in- creased floor space, 1,500 men will be able to attend the smoker in comfort. 'Pile band and the Glee club will be there to instill the necessary vim into the songs, and as each man steps up to receive his "M" a picture of him in action will be thrown on the big screen. A' short, snappy program is prom- ised by the committee in charge. There will be four speakers, two fac- ulty mten, one alumnus, and one stu- dent. Harry Gult, '17L, is to be master of ceremonies.
