THE MICHIGAN DAILY ; I AT THE MAJESTIC The management of the Majestic theater makes the assertion that the vaudeville bill which opens there on Monday night is the most expensive of any bill that has ever appeared at this theater. The bill is headed by thatrgreatest of telepathic mediums. Mrs. Fay's work is said to be the very acme of perfection in her line. Her achieve- ments have been so unparalleled and the sensation produced so phenomenal that hundreds of imitators have tried to copy her work. Mrs. Eva Fay stands alone, the originator and creator of this mysterious phenomenon. On Wednesday the performance will be for ladies only and no men will be admitted. Mrs. Fay will answer all the questions that the women may ask. On this occasion the balcony as well as the main floor will be reserved. Back to Ann Arbor comes Baby Helen, America's youngest prima donna and a child actress who has a bigger reputation as a polite performer in vaudeville than many persons twice or three times her age. One of the funiest sketches on the road is Allman and Loader in a rural farce called "On the Farm." Dogs, chickens, pigs, and other animals will take an important part. Mason and Murray have a singing and talking act that is sure to be interesting. It is called "Getting His Goat." Marie Genaro is one of the few contortion- ists who is capable of giving valuable physical culture suggestions. She is called the "Flexible Venus." Mary Miles Minter will appear in the first of a series of very interesting photoplays Sunday night. It is called "Youth's Endearing Charm," and this, favorite little star is given an oppor- tunity to display her talent in this pic- ture. AT THE GARRICK, DETROIT Next week at the Garrick theater, Detroit, will be grand opera replete with singularly attractive features. The San Carlo Grand Opera company, whose initial performances in Detroit last season brought immense audiences to the Griswold street playhouse, re- turns on next Monday evening and at that time will stage a sumptuous pro- duction of Verdi's big opera, "Aida." No more fitting work could have been selected through which to display the vocal, orchestral and scenic possibili- ties of the organization.
