Wooers" Retreat
Will Br ing joy to
Campus Fussers
Campus "fussing," now a hindrance
to the student in the Library-where
the billing and the cooing run their
course from morn till night-will soon
have its way unhindered in that
ancient room of study, for the plans
of our new building show that in one
corner there is a place for conversa-
tion, where the "wooers" shall hold
sway.
Thus no longer will the student have
to cast aside his lessons or have mod-
ern romance mingling with his read-
ing of the ancient. Whispered words
of maids entrancing, half concealed
behind a text book, promises of future
meetings, promises of other natures,
words of everything but study will be
put into one corner, where no text
books urge to study, where no thoughts
of morrow's classes, where no worry
of exam times, nothing but that con-
versation and all else that should go
with it to make up the campus ,"fus-
sing."
Oh, rejoice, ye night-time students,
ring out loudly all ye bells, for ever-
more there shall be quiet in the rooms
where study dwells.

"In acting, interest and well
told plot, 'Enlighten Thy Daught-
er' is superior to any similar
picture that has ever preceded it.
The action is swift and there is
a careful avoidance of anything
that would make the scenes un-
pleasant or distasteful to the
most puritanical."
Detroit News.
April 16, 1917.
"Every mother and father and
every young girl in Detroit
would be well repaid by seeing
'Enlighten Thy Daughter.' It is
not a sex picture in the general-
ly accepted term; not a scene
in the play is suggestive;, the
tense situations are delicately
handled, and the oldstory of all
ages and nations, is retold with
a modern touch that should ap-
peal to all womanhood."
'Detroit Free Press.
April 16, 1917.
'Enlighten Thy Daughter,'
the delicacy of the theme is
deftlyhandled, and there is no
offense in any of the incidents
or in the manner of their pre-
sentation. For a film lesson on
the teaching of truths essential
to the health and morals of the
race. 'Enlighten Thy Daughter'
is more to be commended than
any other filmlealing with the
same subject ;which has gone
before."
Detroit Times.
