Says German Boat Sunk on North Sea
London, May 18.-A German tor-
pedo boat sank last night in the North
sea off the Dutch coast, says a Central
News dispatch from Amsterdam to-
day. The craft either struck a mine
or was torpedoed.

Petoskey, May 18.-Despite the war
and under strained business condi-

laying plans for one of the biggest re-
sort seasons in recent years. Because
of the dangers of ocean travel, hotel
and resort proprietors in this vicinity
believe that vacationists will flock to
the northern beauty spots in un-
equaled numbers.
