State Street at William Street Colonel Atten's lecture, which was scheduled for 8 o'clock tomorrow nighti Hill auditorium, has been postponed until 4:15 o'clock Monday afternoon. Colonel Atten is connect- ed with the British army and has seen many months of active fighting on the war zone. The lecture will be of especial interest to the cadets, en- listed army mechanics, students, and the general public, for the speaker will dwell on actual conditions now existing in France. Credit will be given to all the cadets attending the lecture. A make-up drill will be held from 9 to 11 o'clock tomorrow morning in Waterman gymnasium. Commencing at 1:30 o'clock a voluntary hike will be given to the cadets. Company F. First regiment, defeat- ed the Headquarters nine in a one- sided game at 4:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon on Ferry field by a score of 11 to 6. The batteries were: Company F, Gale, Dickenson and Schmidt; Headquarters, Earle and Garrick. Drawings for the inter-company baseball games to be held from 10 to 12 o'clock tomorrow morning on Fer- ry field will be held today by Dr. George A. May. All the teams in the different battalions who have won games may be expected to play Sat- urday morning. The result of the drawings will be announced tomor- row. Dr. Inches, of Detroit, who recent- ly returned from the battlefields in France, will be among the prominent out-of-town speakers in the patriotic rally.to be given under the auspices of the Daughters of the American Revolution at 8 o'clock Thursday night, May 30, in Hill auditorium. Dr. Inches will give an illustrated lec- ture. A number of University and Ann Arbor speakers are also on the program. Every patriotic organization, in- cluding Lhe R. 0. T. C., the U. S. en- listed army mechanics, and students in the different enlisted reserve corps have been invited to attend the rally. Several selections will be played by the Varsity band. Members of the R. 0. T. C. will be given credit for at- tendance. The exercises are open to the public. The doors will be open at 7:30 o'clock. Running the Scale Miss Claudia Muzio and Miss Myr- na Sharlow, two of the May Festival stars, were honored by Ann Arbor sororities. Miss Muzio was initiated into the Sigma Alpha Iota sorority and Miss Sharlow into the Mu Phi Epsilon. The Choral union under the direc- tion of Dr. A. A. Stanley will partici- pate in the Baccalaureate services, June 23. A patriotic concert will be given by several members of the University School of Music May 30 at Dexter. The following will appear on the pro- gram: 0. O. Patton, tenor; Dorothy Haymaker, violinist; Frances Krook, soprano; Dorothy Wines, pianist. The annual commencement exercis- es will take place Thursday morning, June 20, in the School of Music audi- torium. About 25 students will re- ceive diplomas.
