Wenley, head of the philosophy department of the Un- iversity. This work beside being an admirable pfece of biography, portray- ing Morris' life from his early years in New England through the period of his professorship in the department of philosophy in the University, is in- valuable as contributing an insight into a certain period of philosophy in this country. Professor Wenley as a contempor- ary and friend of the late Professor Morris, has given the personal touch to the work which adds so greatly to such a production. H. A.
