Scott Speak on National Movement An organization among Michigan women to further patriotic education was enthusiastically approved by a large majority of the senior girls at a tea given yesterday in Barbour gym- nasium. Over 100 girls came out and registered, 10 states being represent- ed. Miss Agnes E. Wells, acting dean of women, presented the situation as it was stated at the mass meeting in Detroit by Mrs. Lois Matthews, chair- man of the national movement. Mrs. Fred N. Scott, president of the Michi- gan collegiate alumnae association, spoke of .the work being done in edu- cational lines throughout the country, and of the patriotic duty of university women to forward this movement. A state organization will include one speaker from every county as captain, and club women and university girls to further war education among the less informed. Bulletins are being published. from which general in- formation may be obtained by those interested.
