Change in Time of Miitary Drill To conform to the changes made in time for the classes in the University, military training will begin one-half hour, earlier than it has in the past few .days. The time, which will take effect next Monday, will be 4 o'clock. Florists at Ohio State have not been hard hit .by the high cost of living. At present they are doing a splendid business because of the popularity of the women students with the avi- ators stationed at Dayton. AT THE WHITNEY "Miss Springtime," the charming musical success, which comes to the Whitney tomorrow night carries a comany of over 75 people. The scenery and costumes are the same used re- cently in all season runs in New York and Boston, and the original cast is complete. The piece contains much delightful humor and the romantic story is en- twined with a spirit of youth and gayety. Frank McIntyre, Zoe Barnett, Hattie Burks, and other equally fa- mous stars, help to make this produc- tion one of the most magnificent that has ever been sent on tour. AT THE GARRICK Detroit "Odd and Ends of 1917," this week's offering at the Garrick, is announced as a chummy, musical review. It is not a review of New York successes but is rather in the nature of a satir- ical comment on the affairs of the day. There is a military note throughout the whole, and the atmosphere of the piece is never allowed to become gloomy. Miss Frances Caspari, teacher of Voice Culture, Term beginning Oct. 2.
