Mrs. MacDowell's program will con-
sist entirely of Dr. MacDowell's com-
positions, and in addition she will
speak on the MacDowell Memorial col-
ony which was organized to carry out
the ideals established by this gifted
musician. Dr. MacDowell is consid-
ered among the foremost American
composers and his untimely death a
few years ago caused a great loss in
the field of American music.

Several calls for girls to do mend-
ing, light housework, and care for
children have come to the office of the
Dean of Women this week. Those in-
terested in earning money for Liberty
bonds or for Christmas should report
at Barbour gymnasium at once.
Masques will hold a meeting at 7:30
o'clock tomorrow night at Newberry
hall. All members are requested to be
present.
Workers are badly needed at Angell
house to turn out the 50,000 pads
which must be completed this week.
Girls expecting to be in town dur-
ing vacation are asked to sign the
lists at Newberry hall or in the Wom-
en's league room.
Wyvern will meet at 8 o'clock to-
night with Ida Belle Guthe, '19, 1930
Cambridge road.
Junior-freshman basketball prac-
tice at 4:20 o'clock this afternoon.
The books ordered for the play-

UNITARIAN STUDENTS TO GIVE
TWO-ACT COMEDY FOR CHARITY
Under the direction of Mr.-George
D.. Wilner of the Oratory department,
a two-act comedy entitled, "A Rice
Pudding," will be presented Saturday
evening, December 15, at the Unitar
tan Guild hall.
The play is being given under the
auspices of the Young People's so-
ciety of the Unitarian church and the
proceeds are to go for war charity.
