The col- Professor Case and Preparateur Buettner left Ann Arbor on July 1 and went to Scenic, South Dakota, where they spent six weeks in the vicinity of the Indian Creek Bad Lands. Nearly a ton of fossils were acquired from the cliffs and river beds of that section of the country, The prize of the collection is a' Titanothereum, four feet in length. In addition many fined specimens of the three-toed horse, saber tooth tiger, primitive pigs, dogs, cats and turtles were discovered.
