'I { f .. a s_.-:. I 7 77: - ------------- --- 7 r{ I': Dances in the future will be much simpler, and will begin at 8 o'clock and end at 11 o'clock, if the plan of procedure outlined by the Women's judiciary council at their meeting 'Wednesday noon, held at the home of Dean Jordan, is carried out. Letters recommending this change, both on acount of the earlier schedule of all University classes, and also as a war measure, will be sent out in the near future to all league houses, sororities, and dormitories. At this writing plans are being made to call a meeting of all league house heads, sorority representatives, and dormitory presidents the first week in November. At this time, a set of uni- versal house rules will be drawn up, to be observed by all University wom- en living in organized houses. The personnel of the council is as follows: Dean Jordan, Anna Lloyd, '18, Mildred Mighell, '18, Helen Brown, '18, Helen Osband, '19, and Laura Pea- cock, '20. MICHIGAN WOMEN OCCUPIED WITH PATRIOTIC ACTIVITIES In contrast to the pickets at Wash- ington, Michigan women have shown their good sense In suspending the struggle for suffrage and turning their attention to the more vital issue of the fight for humanity. Red Cross work, the Liberty loan campaign, and the many other duties of those who remain at home claim their interest. So men need not fear that this year will see the women striving to usurp their places in the campus activities. Recreation makes for, Efficiency. "We try to treat you right." Huston Bros.-Adv. t.
