Why: Brian has developed a special friendship with Nick
Scribani, a second-grader from Fairport, N.Y. Scribani is the
National Poster Child for Cystic Fibrosis. Nick lives near
Aparo's hometown of Victor. Since becoming close with
Brian, Scribani has developed a special interest in the Wolver-
ines. This weekend Nick and his father attended the Michigan-
Northwestern game. They watched the game from the press
box.
Background: Aparo wrestles at the 134-lb weight class...he
saw action in all 12 dual meets for the Wolverines a year ago
as a freshman...recorded a fall in his first Michigan match
against Cleveland State...he is a student in the Division of
Kinesiology...in high school he was a National Honor Society
member and class vice president...born April 27, 1976
