Why: Joe Marinaro served the community in many ways~this week., Last Saturday, while the
Wolverines had the day off, Marinaro spent the day at a picnic sponsored by the University
Hospitals Cardiac Pediatric division. He signed autographs and interacted with the children.'
Wednesday, Marinaro joined the hockey team in a visit to Mott's Children's Hospital. Finally, this
Saturday, Joe hosted Travar Pettway, an 18-year old parapleglic, at the football game. Through.
Marinaro's friendship, Pettway was able to gain access to-the press box to view Michigan's 38-19.

Background: Marinaro, an offensive tackle, is a general studies'major...He is one of the team.
