Your Visa Classic account will be governed by the terms of the First USA
Bank Cardmember Agreement that will be sent to you with your card(s). The
terms of your account are subject to change as provided in your Cardmember
First USA reserves the right to change the benefit features associated with
your card at any time.
You agree that First USA Bank has the right to obtain a current credit report in
connection with First USA Bank's review of your application and subsequently
in connection with a requested charge to your account, the renewal of your
account or a change in your credit line. Upon your request we will tell you the
name and address of each consumer reporting agency from which we
obtained a consumer report on you.
Important Information About Transferring Balances
You may transfer a balance from any current Visa', MasterCard, Discover, or
Optima" account. Please fill in the exact amount of the balance you wish to
transfer even if you wish to transfer your entire balance. There's no transfer fee,
and we take care of all of the paperwork. Making a transfer is just like making a
purchase; it will appear on your first statement and reduce your available credit.
Your other Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Optima account will show a credit, and
the amount you owe will be reduced by the amount you transferred. Your other
account will not be closed, even if you transfer your entire balance. If you want
to close your other account, please contact that credit card company directly. It
may take up to three weeks to set up your account and post the balance transfer
transaction to your other account. Therefore, you may still need to make a
payment on your other account to keep it current. Balance Transfer is contingent
upon approval of your new Visa account. First USA reserves the right to decline
to process any balance transfer request and will not process a balance transfer
request from any other First USA account.
